Dan LaPrairie

Director of Operational Excellence

“I have truly enjoyed my time at PSC. Every day comes with a new set of challenges that have allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. Though we have more than tripled in size since I started, we have been able to maintain the family atmosphere that drew me to PSC to begin with. I am honored to be a part of the PSC family, and I believe that we all have been given a unique opportunity to be a part of a great organization that values individuals.”

Dan came to PSC in 2005 as the Training Coordinator for Texas In-Plant Operations. He worked his way up the ladder, taking on the additional role of Operations Manager in 2008 until being promoted to his current role as Director of Operational Excellence in 2017. He is responsible for directing our HSE, Operations Training, and Compliance programs and activities.

Before joining PSC, Dan worked for Dow Chemical for 17 years. At the time he left for PSC, he was serving as the Rail Logistics Leader for Dow’s Michigan division.

Originally from Michigan, Dan attended Michigan Technological University, training to become a Chemical Engineering Technician. He is the co-author of two U.S. patents. Dan and his wife Elizabeth live in Manvel, Texas.
